A surreal feminist revision of the Arabian Nights legend. Scheherazade is a strikingly beautiful model recovering in hospital after an operation. She is convinced that her doctor, Dr. Storey, is trying to kill her and that her only way to survive is to tell him stories. As her stay is prolonged, she grows desperate for tales and seeks the help of Kore, a tabloid-reading fellow patient, who believes every line of the rag. Slowly, the two women get closer, telling the preposterous tales from the tabloids to Dr. Storey, attempting to escape death.
