CINÉMA VÉRITÉ: DEFINING THE MOMENT
Around the 1950's and 60's, a handful of filmmakers set aside old documentary dogmas, ripped up their own screenplays and picked up their cameras. In so doing, they launched a veritable revolution: cinéma vérité (direct cinema). This film relates the story of this visual revolution by presenting a number of classics of the genre and interviews with the people who made them.
