Guatemala: a country divided between rich and poor, natives and whites, civilians and soldiers. In the cotton plantations, native people are paid only two dollars a day; their children often earn less than a dollar. Those who dare to protest risk their lives. The army has outlined strict security instructions including a survival plan... for beauty queens. Absurdity holds sway. So do Hell and Death, as reflected in a traditional dance.
