Camille is twelve years old and loves the stars that she observes every evening with her telescope. She lives with her mother but constantly dreams about Pierre, her beloved father who lives in New York. All at once, he appears one evening as Marie-Pierre, complete with dress and make-up. Despite this transformation, Camille decides to follow her father to live with him at last. With a fervor borne of despair, she sets her mind on convincing him to become a man once again. But it is a mistake. The strange being who finally gives in to her desire is no longer the father she knew.
The ghost of Zero - "patient zero", who allegedly first brought aids to Canada - materialises and tries to contact old friends. Meanwhile, the Victorian explorer Sir Richard Burton, who drank from the Fountain of Youth and now works as Chief Taxidermist at the Toronto Natural history Museum, is trying to organise an Aids Exhibition.
