The film brings us back to the Hiroshima of 1946, during the difficult struggle to re-establish itself after the atomic bomb. At the heart of it all, people slowly recover among the ruins and must rebuild their city and their lives. This explosion changed the destiny of countless people around the world. Hiroshima’s Ota River runs on, still carrying the souls of those who were born and died there.
