Quatre Cavaliers De L'Apocalypse, Les

1990

In Quebec, talk about the environment is popular, but action much less so. There is discussion, consultation, reflection, and recommendations. Action, on the other hand, is late in coming, and what does get done is not enough, despite the countdown having started long ago. "In some cases, things are past being urgent." Four plagues are identified: household waste, toxic waste, bacterial waste and the depletion of natural resources. These plagues threaten the future of Quebec and demand speedy intervention. It is really necessary to wait until it is too late before scrambling to go green?
