When experimental cinema meets political theatre, the result is an explosion of expressionism and anarchy, a no-man’s land filled with pipedreams and emotions. In keeping with Alberto Kurapel’s theatrical performance, Off off off is off-beat and off-tradition, in the way it brings the unconscious to life. Two men talk, sing and yell without communicating...One man is seeking a woman he once loved, using a language and gestures that are inappropriate in a foreign country where she is not to be found...He then seeks her in his memory, but the memory begins to fade into confusion, habit and forgetfulness.
