On the street in a working-class neighbourhood of Montreal, a young man is murdered. For the media, it's just another crime story. But the victim’s family and friends are shattered by the tragedy, even though violence is their daily fare. LOVE-MOI performs an autopsy on this violence. Eight youth stand trial. The witnesses for the prosecution include contempt, indifference, prejudice and oppression. These young people inhabit a world where there are no dreams, no illusions and no hope. All they have is perhaps the choice to condemn themselves, and occasionally the guts to end it all... without bungling the attempt.
