This could easily be a very old black and white movie, filmed at the turn of the century, stumbled upon in Egypt, then restored and rebuilt by specialists at an imaginary cinematic institution. With the assistance of a team of deaf-mutes, the film’s dialogue is deciphered and dubbed over live from the projection room. The film itself seems to tell the story of a young woman’s passion, as she feels a calling to do something heroic with her life. She wanders aimlessly in the desert until, one day, she sneezes and someone is brought back to life. The town flocks to her, including a capitalist and an ambitious scientist, who want to take advantage of her unusual gift.
