Philippe is a freelance journalist and observer of the political and social scene. Articles, radio interviews, reports from abroad... he has an unwavering passion for the news. Everything is rosy until the teenage plans of Catherine, his 15-year-old daughter, upset his hard-won stability. Catherine wants to drop out of school, work, pursue an acting career, and live life on her own terms. In the face of these demands, Philippe loses his self-assurance and orders Catherine to come to her senses. They collide and hurt one another: he has the power of experience; she has the audacity to confront him with his own truths and contradictions. Throughout this crisis that knocks him off balance, Philippe is forced to reorganize his life and look at the big picture. Father and daughter find each other once again; they are different, changed and face the future with both restlessness and confidence.
