Martin Weston is an American working for a company (its product or business is not identified) somewhere in Europe. There for 18 years, separated from his wife and family, he has
been a steady employee. Despite advances made by an office secretary, he rigs up a bomb in a coat hanger for himself. However, the ending makes it clear that the suicide attempt was all in his mind.
