Homme Trop Pressé Prend Son Thé À La Fourchette, L'

84 minutes, 2002

This documentary follows several people caught up in the turmoil of the modern world. A girl working as a bicycle courier weaves through Montreal to deliver messages and parcels. A young mother of two finds it increasingly difficult to juggle her career and family life. Betrayed by a society that values only winners, an outstanding marathon runner who sustained numerous injuries now advocates patience. In response to the devastating effects of stress, a woman provides tailored workshops to get people to change their behaviour and cut down on their work hours. Surrounded by the castoffs of a consumer society, a computer recycler questions the progress that enslaves us.
