A new phenomenon is sprouting up in Québec’s countryside: violence. How does a tall, good looking young man, peaceful and easygoing, get caught up in a life of crime? That is exactly what happens to Big Rock after he marries Régine, who wants all of the trinkets items that she sees advertised. Forced to give up his freedom for the sake of marriage, cut off from his roots, Big Rock seeks thrills as a hoodlum with the mafia. Love and action, beauty and violence: this feature-length drama was filmed against the backdrop of the snowy Laurentians.
