69 minutes, 1968

Ethnological Documentary recalling the tradition of lumberjacks, fishermen and hunters over the last two hundred years in the forests of Quebec. Telling the story are the brothers and loggers Amédée and Vézina Fortin, Alverez Bouchard, pearl diver, and Msgr. Félix-Antoine Savard, poet and writer. The film is based on the work of Normand Lafleur and his study entitled "La vie traditionnelle des Coureurs de bois aux 18 et 19è siècles".
