110 minutes, 1993

Léo Lespérance is of humble origins. He decides to leave his job as a bus driver and flee Quebec’s harsh climate to make his dream come true: settling in Florida. With the support of his wife, Ginette, their two teen-age children and his father, he suddenly decides to become the owner of one of the many motels scattered down the Florida coast. But he fails to foresee the doggedness of his envious competitors, which takes all his energy while his family problems mount. The family will finally manage to reconcile at the grandfather’s hospital bedside.
