According to some demographers, the French-Canadian nation will be gone within 25 years at the most. That is, unless it begins to produce more children and only welcomes immigrants who truly wish to integrate into French-Canadian society. Politics could go two ways. In offering a parallel between what is happening elsewhere in the world and what is currently happening in Québec, this deep analysis into the nation warns us of the mistakes that we must avoid, and proposes solutions that just might prevent the disappearance of the French people from North America.
