Based on a true story, DANGEROUS OFFENDER tells the story of Marlene Moore (Johnson), a woman who spent most of her life in jail, and focusing on her period of incarceration while fighting the Crown's attempt to have her declared a dangerous offender and locked up indefinitely - the first woman in the country to be so classified - despite the fact that she had never committed a serious crime.
