This film shows how modern technology can be used in education, and what education specialists hope to achieve by using it: reform. Elementary school children delve into the field of science. They are introduced to technology. The studio teacher and class teacher decide to share in the teaching process. The notion of a program. Documentary on programmed, linear and divergent teaching methods. Three episodes as the series evolves. a) Reactive learning environments. Documentary on the educational benefits of a speaking machine and the results obtained with two and three year old children. b) Early logic-based technology. Experiments with a typewriter that reacts instantly by hammering out questions and answers. c) Future public services. The need for different techniques that will ensure the effectiveness of programmed teaching.
