Film traces the relationship of sexual abuse, teenage runaways and juvenile prostitution. It maintains that juvenile prostitution is a different problem from adult prostitution and that teenage runaways are trapped by limited options and psychological burdens. A television journalist, attempting to do a story on street kids, tells the story of two teenagers. Michelle, sexually abused by her father, runs away from home and becomes a prostitute. Flynn is a male prostitute. The film is based on real events. The scenes featuring only actors were fully scripted. Scenes combining actors and non-actors were improvised.
