Michel is a young luthier who is tormented by the memory of a woman he loved until the day when, out jogging, he sees a woman named Blanche who is determined to do away with herself. He literally snatches her back from the brink. Blanche emerges like a lifeline into Michel's life. His entire life now centres on a single goal: restore Blanche's desire to live. Time goes by and Blanche's despair fades away. As Blanche changes, Michel becomes out of his depth and no longer knows how to act with this woman who no longer needs him and can stand on her own two feet. Gradually, the tables are turning.
